This song is deeply personal to me. It’s about my Fiance, Deb—the woman who has stood beside me through more than 25 years of life, love, chaos, challenges, and unforgettable memories.
We’ve raised a family, weathered the hard times, found magic in our grandkids, picked up our lives and moved to Florida, and made some of our favorite memories traveling, boating, fishing, people-watching, and spending time in the Florida Keys. Through all of my craziness, Deb has always been the steady one—the person everyone seems to turn to, almost like the godmother of our family and friends.
More than anything, this song is my way of saying that she made me whole. I truly believe I wouldn’t be the man I am—or even be here today—without her.
